Stylish at Home.

The value of a great work from home wardrobe cannot be underestimated. Rewind to the beginning of the pandemic when I was working exclusively at my role in marketing. Work was busy, hours were long, time was at a premium, and like most of us then, I was all about the joggers and loungewear jumpsuits.

My Zoom camera was off.

It was fine for a while, sitting cross legged with my dog at my feet and cozy comfort was key. But when I came up for air, I realized I didn’t feel like “me” any more. My spirits were down and I needed a reset. So I started shopping for pieces that were Zoom worthy. Simple, but stylish. The sleeveless turtleneck vest from Everlane in this picture, plus a delicate long necklace I found in Paris a few years ago worked well for me.

I also reached to goop for clean skincare, including some light cosmetics — two of my favorites are the Saie tinted moisturizer and cheek tint. A couple of short sleeve silk tops, a cashmere boatneck and stylish slouchy jeans became my new work from home uniform. Mix style with comfort, a fresh face, and adjust my angle to avoid backlighting, and I decided to turn the camera back on.

That was almost 4 years ago and so much has changed again, but I maintain that mentality. No matter where I am working it is important to me to wear something I feel good and confident in, and comfort doesn’t need to be sacrificed.
